Summary
The City of Port Phillip wanted to showcase their concept designs for future development at a five key locations around the Montague Precinct area in Melbourne. The Council's concept sketches were interpreted and converted to 3D models by Ignition Immersive's 3D Art team, to be used in a geo-location based, marker image activated AR experience. Activation image markers were to be physically installed at their respective locations for the AR app to interact with.
The AR app features:
Map interface identifying user location and the key activation locations
Navigation route display on map
AR image recognition for activation
3D model spawn in AR mode
